Some of us are planning on trying out the new Star Wars | The Old Republic game when it is released and I was wondering what side people are interested in joining... The Galactic Republic or The Sith Empire.

Please post your interest and comments regarding Star Wars | The Old Republic MMO in the forums here. Also...I am not opposed to changing names if people would like. If you think of a name that we can use, go ahead and post it. I'm open to all suggestions.

While raiding/grouping, always follow the loot rules as stated by the raid/group leader. You may not always agree with them, but their raid/group - their rules.

First of all...Always let the group leader open the pine and epic boxes. The group leader is responsible for making sure that everyone in the group is alive and within range to roll on the drops. ** Blue Drops If the item is bind on pickup, then you can roll need on it if it is something that you can use on your current toon and you don't already have it. If the item is bind when equipped, then you can roll greed on it if you or one of your alts can use it. If the item is a recipe book, then you can roll need on it only if you are on a toon that can consume it. You will be asked to show the recipe in raid chat. ** Purple Epic Drops First of all...Only toons that are level 75 and up can roll need. Toons that are 74 and below can only roll greed on purple items. When the box is opened, make sure to only roll if the item is for your class and you don't already have it on your toon or in your inventory. If you are unsure if the item is for your class, please ask the raid leader before you roll on it. If two different items for the same clas drop, please work it out among yourselves prior to rolling on the items. If two identical items for the same class drop, everyone pass on the items and they will be handed out by the raid leader. Epic weapons are class specific but do not say what class they are for in their description. If one has not already been provided, ask the raid leader to link a list of the epic weapons. ** Failure to abide by these rules may lead to your toon being kicked from the raid!! ** ** Thank You, RAVENOUS Officers
Well, it looks like the Dreamworld Engine is up and running as intended. There have been a few bugs in some of the dungeons and a weird rezzing issue, but overall, I am very pleased with the results of the graphical part of the patch. My framerate has increased by about 25-30% and additional effects have been added to enhance the visual experience. It appears that they have been working on patching the issues and I guess that only time will tell.
As far as the guild goes, things have been a little slow. We have gained some new members and some old members have returned, but it seems like people are playing fewer hours than before. This, along with everyone's work schedule, has made it difficult to time guild raids and group runs. I would really like to start running these again on a regular basis. I need everyone to check out the polls above and vote for the times that they can make it to the raids and six mans. Use the forums as well. The more input that I have, the better chance we have of scheduling events that everyone can attend.
A few of us have been focusing on the Khitai six mans lately. We will be working on putting together a group or two that will be regularly running the dungeons around Khitai in both regular and godslayer modes. Please let me or Wyndii know if you are interested in joining our farming group and which toons you would like to participate with. Remember that everyone will need to bring only their best geared toons and our groups must to be stacked with specific classes that benefit each dungeon.
01-13-2011 - Guild Update
The Holidays are over and now it is time to get back to work. Things have been going well with the guild and as we have seen a couple of old members come back along with a few new members joining. It does seem that some people have been playing a little less lately, so I have been trying to come up with some ideas on how to make our playtime a little more enjoyable. The Khitai grind is definitely not it, but we have had some fun completing a few of the rarely run six-mans. Completing Iron Tower and Xibaluku has been a blast and I would like to keep running them so we can get efficient enough to burn them in hard mode. Same goes with the Khitai six-mans. I would also like to thank Moh for bringing attention to the "11 Sacred Weapons of Hwanug " quest. I just completed it on my barb last night and got an awesome two-handed sword. It bumped my dps up nearly 40 points over my previous weapon. If you have a toon that doesn't have an epic weapon, you should give it a try!
Cheers to a new year with the new Dreamworld engine (coming soon) and new group and solo quests.
11-3-2010 - Guild Update
In the last couple of months, we have seen a few players go, a few players join, and a few players come back to revisit the game. Not a lot of changes have taken place, but it looks like update 2.1 will be out by the end of the year. They have started testing some aspects of it on the Test Live servers, but it won't be hitting the main servers until the end of December. Read more about the upcoming changes here .
As a guild, I would like to see us start knocking out some more 6-mans in Khitai. I know that I sound like a broken record, but it is a great place to gear out your level 80's and really learn to play them in more raid-like settings. Unlike the tank-and-spank bosses in the old areas, these bosses take skill and timing from all classes. Plus the gear is much better. As people start learning these bosses and begin equipping themselves with Khitai gear, we will be able to strart running more hard mode dungeons for purples. I am going to put up a poll on the front page here. Let me know what days work out best for you to run these 6-mans. Go vote!
9-1-2010 - Guild Update
Looks like update 2.06 is out and there are a lot of changes. You can read more about it here. Sounds like the Ranger nerf did come to pass. Let's hope that they didn't go overboard. Some of you may have noticed that I have been making some changes to the website. Please feel free to let me know what you think. If there are modifications that you would like to see or new content that you think should be added, please do not hesitate to post something in the forums. I am trying to make the site as user-friendly and informative as possible. As far as the guild goes, things have been going pretty smoothly. Our purple collection has been growing along with our level 80 toons. Going forward I would like to see us branch out a little and start adding some extra six-mans to our rotation. Let's quit talking about it and do it. Keep those forums active!

RAVENOUS is going to make a push to start getting members actively involved in some of the new content in Khitai. The landscape is amazing and filled with dozens of new 6-man dungeons and mini-raid bosses that many people have never even heard of. Let's experience Khitai together as a guild. 7-12-2010 - Update
First of all I just want to thank everyone for their patience while I migrate to this new website. I am getting close, but I still have the gallery and a couple of script files to add. I plan to have everything back up and running completely by the end of this week. Keep visiting daily as I will be adding new useful modules. Please feel free to look around and give me any suggestions.

If there are modifications that you would like to see or new content that you think should be added, please do not hesitate to post something in the forums. I am trying to make the site as user-friendly and informative as possible. As far as the guild goes, things have been going pretty smoothly. Our purple collection has been growing along with our level 80 toons. Going forward I would like to see us branch out a little and start adding some extra six-mans to our rotation.
